LOWER ELEMENTARY

The Lower Elementary environment is equipped with a variety of materials for practice, keeping in mind the psychology and development patterns of growing children. By the time children are nine years old, they:

  • Work in groups, use manipulative materials and by the end of the program, start to develop analytical skills

  • Work on projects of mutual interest with their friends and submit project reports

  • Explore cultures around the world and make sense of the diversity & and their place in the universe

  • Become ‘joyfully obedient’ – a state when inner discipline has matured; where he sees the value in the request made by adults and complies willingly

  • Have entered the stage of symbolic thinking and can imagine ideas, objects & and concepts without real sensorial experiences

  • Practice inquiry-based learning at their own pace without limits
